At the end of October in Belek, Turkey Ironman 70.3 Turkey was held, in which took part several Bulgarian representatives with more than impressive performance.
Boris Andreev, a competitor of SCT “Tri Team – Sofia”, managed to win a gold medal in the category 18-24 years with a time of 4:00:07, which earned him the prestigious 8th place in the overall ranking.



One more Bulgarian athlete managed to get on the podium in the category 18-24 years and it was Nikolay Stepanov from SC “Palazov” – Sofia, who covered the distance in 4:22:54 and took a well-deserved silver medal in this age group.
It should be noted that this participation was a debut for both of them in an Ironman competition.
The record holder of Bulgaria in Ironman distances – Ivan Grublev, competitor of SCT “Tri Team – Sofia”, won another award and a gold medal in the age group 45-49 years.
